Margot Leegwater

Margot LeegwaterMargot Leegwater is an anthropologist who previously worked at the ASCL between January 2008 and March 2015. At that time she wrote her PhD dissertation, which she defended in September 2015 at the VU University Amsterdam. For her PhD, she examined recent land policies in rural southeastern Rwanda and their effects on social relations, including inter-ethnic relations. Between April 2015 and April 2017, Margot worked as a program leader for the DRC at PAX, Utrecht.
