La Pesadilla de Obi is a satirical graphic novel about Teodoro 'Obi' Obiang, the President of Equatorial Guinea. It imagines what would be the worst nightmare of Africa’s longest-ruling leader: to wake up as an unemployed, witless husband in one of Malabo’s dreary slums. La Pesadilla de Obi was illustrated by cartoonist and activist Ramón Esono Ebalé, who was arrested on 16 September in Malabo. His graphic novel is the subject of our latest Library Highlight.
