POSTPONED: Connect4Women: Uncovering gender norms in practice

This event has been postponed until further notice. Please keep an eye on this website.

Social norms that govern our behaviour are embedded in every institutional structure. Restrictive norms often disproportionately affect certain groups, especially women. The Hague Academy for Local Governance, CARE Nederland, CORDAID, International Institute of Social Studies, RNW Media and the African Studies Centre Leiden are joining forces on 9 April in The Hague to uncover Gender Norms. You are very welcome on 9 April to look at how norms affect women and societies and how to create better chemistry between governments, INGOs and academia to make policy frameworks more encouraging, interventions more inclusive and research more supportive. Prof. Marleen Dekker (ASCL) will be one of the moderators.

More information on the programme will follow.
