PhD Defence Catherina Wilson Janssens

On 11 September at 16:15 hrs., Catherina Wilson Janssens will defend her dissertation Conflict (im)mobiles. Biographies of mobility along the Ubangi River in Central Africa, at Leiden University.

Everyone is welcome to attend but please be aware that there is no admittance after 16.15 hrs. The defence will take place in the Senaatskamer of the Academy Building.

Catherina Wilson graduated from the Research Master African Studies at Leiden University, in 2012. She carried out research in Kisangani, DRC, and wrote her MA thesis on "The Congolese Yankee: Language and Identity among Youth in Kisangani".
