Mirjam de Bruijn in Trouw about recent coups in African countries

Mirjam de Bruijn was interviewed by Trouw about coups in African countries in 2021. Coups occurred in Niger, Mali, Guinea, Chad and recently Sudan. She sees a trend in the countries concerned: generals seem to look at each other and learn from each other. 'They also see that the international convictions have little or no consequences over time', she says.
