Mirjam de Bruijn in Trouw about the death of Chadian president Idriss Déby

The death of Chadian president Idriss Déby, who was killed in a military action on Monday 20 April, could destabilise the whole country as well as the entire region. Prof. Mirjam de Bruijn was interviewed by Trouw and shares her concerns about what she calls a coup d'état. Déby's son, nicknamed 'Kaka' has now taken power in Chad. "People are afraid of him. Many are currently escaping the capital N'Djamena" says De Bruijn.
