Library Highlight: La Pesadilla de Obi (Obi’s Nightmare)

La Pesadilla de Obi is a satirical graphic novel about Teodoro 'Obi' Obiang, the President of Equatorial Guinea. It imagines what would be the worst nightmare of Africa’s longest-ruling leader: to wake up as an unemployed, witless husband in one of Malabo’s dreary slums. La Pesadilla de Obi was illustrated by cartoonist and activist Ramón Esono Ebalé and written by two anonymous collaborators (Chino and Tenso Tenso) based in the capital, Malabo. Cartoonist Ramón Esono Ebalé was arrested on 16 September in Malabo. His graphic novel is the subject of our latest Library Highlight!
