'Breaking Down Barriers' project nominated for Impact Challenge Award 2019

We are proud that the Breaking Down Barriers project, in cooperation with the Liliane Foundation and partners in Sierra Leone, Cameroon and Zambia, has been nominated for the Impact Challenge Award 2019. Come and listen to the pitch on 29 March when the winner will be chosen at the Impact Event in Amsterdam! The one project that has been able to discern and describe its learning experiences - drawn from evaluations - best, and has been able to translate these lessons into next steps and tips for other organisations best, will be chosen as the winner by the professional jury and the audience.

Aim of the project is to identify the success factors of advocacy for children with disabilities. Together with One Family People in Sierra Leone, The Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services and Cheshire Homes Society of Zambia, the project uses academic research as input to build capacity for effective disability advocacy.
