Anika Altaf on Radio 1 about the AU Summit

Anika Altaf, director of the INCLUDE Knowledge Platform, was interviewed on Radio 1 about the AU Summit on 14-15 February in Addis Ababa, which she attended. She talks about the topics that were raised during the Summit: the AU's future policy framework Agenda 2063, Africa's place in the multipolar world, and the African Continental Free Trade Area (ACFTA), an area encompassing most African countries, that have agreed to eliminate tariffs on most goods and services. She stressed the importance of value addition of raw materials in African countries.
