Rebecca Cudjoe, Resilience in Limbo: Vulnerability or Strength? Understanding Migrants' Coping Mechanisms to Shocks and Trajectory of Resilience

This research proposes to understand African migrants' responses to the Covid-19 pandemic in general; it will specifically delve into coping strategies adopted by unregulated African migrants in the Netherlands when global health economic shocks arise. In addition, the study will not only trace the impact of the pandemic on migrants in the host country but also the remittance habit during the pandemic and the transnational effect of these impacts on families in their home country.
