| Abstract | Starting in September 2022, Lidewyde Berckmoes was invited for a three-month Embassy Science Fellowship at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Jakarta. She was asked to contribute ‘to structurally strengthen Indonesian knowledge of Africa’ and relations with African countries’ research institutions. An assignment that requires modesty, especially in these times of changing global relations, Berckmoes writes in the ASCL Africanist Blog. |
