Saheed Bello

Dr Saheed Bello is a guest researcher in African Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy, VU University, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He is a Post Doctoral fellow at the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics of SOAS, University of London, UK. His research focuses on African literary and cultural studies, film and philosophy, African philosophy and post/decolonial theory, environmental humanities and sustainability. As an international fellow, he started working on his book project on African film and philosophy at the Bayreuth Academy of Advanced African Studies, University of Bayreuth, Germany. Dr Bello holds a PhD from the Department of Creative Arts, University of Lagos with a designated emphasis on narrative adaptation from Nigerian literature into film.
