Ikechukwu Anthony Kanu

Ikechukwu Anthony Kanu is a Professor of African Philosophy and Religion, Tansian University and former Rector of Villanova Polytechnic, Imesi Ile, Osun State. He taught Philosophy and Religion at Saint Augustine’s Major Seminary, Jos and is currently a Visiting Professor to Veritas University Abuja, the Augustinian Institute, Makurdi, Saint Albert the Great Major Seminary, Abeokuta, and the University of Jos, Plateau State. He is the Global President of the Association for the Promotion of African Studies (APAS) and the Global President of the World Cultural Studies Research Association (WCRA). I am a member of the Governing Council of Veritas University Abuja and a Governing Board member of the Theological Institute of Consecrated Life in Africa (TICLA).

Prof. Kanu is specialised in Igwebuike philosophy which focuses on the thermodynamic dimension of the African transformative ontology. He holds a PhD in African Philosophy from Selinus University of Sciences and Literature, London and a second PhD in African Traditional Religion from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. He is the Editor-in-Chief of several journals and a member of the editorial boards of more than 50 international and national journals.
