Christina Geofrey Mandara

Dr Christina Geofrey Mandara is a trained social development planner who works as a senior lecturer at the Institute of Rural Development Planning in Dodoma, Tanzania. Her education background encompasses mixed-complementing disciplines, namely community development, environmental planning, application of spatial technologies in natural resources planning and management, gender studies, as well as sociology and development. Her publications, research and consultancy works focus on application of spatial technologies in social sciences, development and critical gender studies, rural water services, policy analysis, environmental studies, food security and climate change. Dr Mandara has a PhD (2014) in Sociology and Development from Wageningen University & Research, in the Netherlands.
