Abdourahmane Idrissa Abdoulaye

Abdourahamane (Rahmane) Idrissa is a political scientist (PhD University of Florida, 2009) with interests in the political economy of West African integration, political Islam in West Africa and political theory. He has founded and runs a think tank (EPGA) in Niamey, Niger, and also teaches at the university there. He has co-authored the fourth edition of the Historical Dictionary of Niger and translated into French ASC researcher Klaas van Walraven’s monograph The Yearning for Relief. A History of the Sawaba Movement in Niger.
