Meeting for journalists: Africa Rising?

NairobiThe African Studies Centre is organizing a meeting for journalists: 'Africa Rising?' on Thursday 13 March, 10.00 - 13.00. Aim of this meeting is to get to know the ASC better and the expertise it has to offer. ASC researchers will speak about two current affairs in Africa: financing and sustaining the economic growth, and radicalization of Islam (please find the programme below). After this, journalists are offered the opportunity to 'speed date' with two ASC researchers of their choice (15 minutes per researcher).

Journalists that would like to attend this meeting are asked to indicate their choices of speed dating no later than 10 March by sending an email to Marieke van Winden: winden@ascleiden.nl. Please indicate four researchers (of which two are back-up) of your choice. Please look at the list of researchers that will be available for speed dating. Language: English.
