Ruud Elmendorp

Ruud Elmendorp is a Dutch Africa correspondent in text, video and radio for the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf and for VPRO, Voice of America, Deutsche Welle, Africa News, Al Jazeera and TRT World. Since 2002 Ruud has been travelling around the African continent for stories and he can be found regularly in Nairobi.

Elmendorp reports general news and background stories from Africa and beyond and has special attention for extremism, social economy, social technology and climate. His publications can be found on De Telegraaf (in Dutch), VOA News and on his personal website.
