Gerda Hooghordel

Gerda Hooghordel graduated in Theology at Utrecht University in Psychology of Religion and African (Traditional) Religion. In 2021 she defended  her PhD dissertation at Leiden University on transformations of sangomas healing processes in contemporary South Africa, specifically in KwaZulu Natal. Gerda works as an existential counsellor from her company ‘Zinnig Gesprek’. Currently she is also working on a commercial edition of her dissertation.
