Felix Kram

Felix Kram is a PhD candidate at the University of Pavia and Leiden University, as well as a visiting fellow at the International Institute for Social History. His dissertation, supervised by Dr Stefano Bellucci and Prof. Leo Lucassen, focusses on the labour question in colonial Sierra Leone, c. 1870-1919. His research investigates the complex contestations between workers, the colonial government, and employers over issues of labour relations, migration, and economic development. Felix holds a Bachelor’s degree in History, a Research Master’s degree in African Studies, and a Master’s degree in International Relations (cum laude) from Leiden University.
