Jan Abbink interviewed by Flamman about the conflict in Tigray, Ethiopia

Jan Abbink was interviewed by the Swedish newspaper Flamman about the conflict in Tigray, Ethiopia. "Ethnicity has been highlighted as the explanatory factor for most of what is happening in Ethiopia since the end of the civil war in 1991. But the main cause of this conflict is the local government in Tigray and the authoritarian and economically monopolistic policies of the elite" thus Abbink.
