An article in Mare reveals former ASC researcher Klaas de Jonge's involvement with an attack by Umkhonto we Sizwe, the ANC's military wing, in 1983. The 'Church Street bombing' was a car bomb attack on 20 May 1983 in the South African capital Pretoria. The bombing was one of the most deadly attacks engaged in by the ANC during its armed struggle.
