ASCL researcher Akinyinka Akinyoade was interviewed by NOS.nl about the eagerness of China to supply COVID-19 vaccines to African countries. It can be seen as an opportunity for China to expand influence on the continent. However, while symbolical agreements have been made, little is know about actual deals about deliveries of the vaccines, according to Dr Akinyoade.
