SAIL platform for international higher education launches website

The African Studies Centre Leiden has been a long-term partner of SAIL. This platform brings together seven international higher education and knowledge institutes in the Netherlands that contribute to the Sustainable Global Development agenda by means of research, education, engagement and projects, in collaboration with partners in the global south. The platform addresses the generation and dissemination of knowledge on inclusive sustainable development around the world with a focus on the Global South and emerging economies.

 

 

The SAIL institutes are:

• African Studies Centre Leiden (ASCL), 
• Faculty of Geo Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) of the University of Twente,
• Institute for Water Education (IHE-Delft),
• Institute of Housing Studies (IHS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam,  
• International Institute of Social Studies (ISS),
• Maastricht School of Management (MSM), and
• Royal Tropical Institute (KIT).

 The Platform thus brings together experts from seven leading Dutch universities and knowledge centres. More than 60,000 SAIL alumni make up a large part of this network!
