Juvence Ramasy

Juvence RamasyJuvence F. Ramasy holds PhD in Political Science from the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole, France. He is a Lecturer at the University of Toamasina, Madagascar where he teaches courses in Political Science and Law.

Dr. Ramasy’s research interests include State, Politics and Power, Elite, Army, and Democracy. He has published several articles on the democratization process in Madagascar. In 2011, Dr. Ramasy was a Visiting Fellow at the China Foreign Affairs University, in Beijing. In 2012, Dr. Ramasy was a Visiting Professor at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Lyon, France where he gave a course on Political Parties in Africa. Here at the ASC, Dr. Ramasy will conduct research on the security sector in Madagascar.
