Serene Ho

I am a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven in Belgium working with a Horizon 2020 funded project, 'its4land'. This project is coordinated by ITC, University of Twente and involves a total of 8 European and African partners.

This project aims to develop a suite of innovative geospatial tools to improve recordation of land rights in East Africa, namely Ethiopia, Rwanda and Kenya. I commenced the position in July 2016 and will be undertaking research in those countries over the next 3 years specifically in the area of needs, readiness and market opportunities assessments in the context of the project.

I hold a PhD in land administration from the University of Melbourne (Australia) and my research interests lie in the social aspects of technological innovation in land administration and spatial sciences.
