Selene Crocetti

Selene Crocetti has a degree in Political Sciences and International Relations from the University of Pisa. During her first university course she developed multiple interests related to the African continent and the Middle East. Her thesis about the renaissance of South Africa and Mandela: “Mandela, from apartheid to the Rainbow Nation: the South Africa’s rebirth at the end of a bipolar world”.

She is now doing an MA in African and Asian Studies at the University of Pavia. Her current interest is the ethnographic reconstruction of the Yaye Fall figure from Senegal and its change through the diaspora.
