Richard Abankwa Agyepong

Richard Abankwa Agyepong is currently a PhD candidate with the University of Wageningen (Public Administration and Policy Group), researching into food security and local governance. He is a Lecturer with the Centre for African Studies University of Education Winneba (UEW) in Ghana. He is also affiliated to the Institute of Local Government Studies in Ghana. Over the years, he has worked and researched in the areas of local government administration, local economic development, gender and development amongst others. In the area of academics, he possess a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in African Studies from University of Ghana, Legon; a Master of Public Management from Potsdam University, Germany; Post-Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from University of Education Winneba; a bachelor’s degree in Geography with History from the University of Ghana. The main area of research focus is Ghana.
