Oumou Koultoum Diaby-Kassamba

Oumou Koultoum Diaby-Kassamba obtained her B.A. degree in Applied Linguistics from Ouagadougou University, Burkina Faso, and then completed her M.A. degree in Translation from the same University. Currently, she is a part-time lecturer in Ouagadougou University.

She is a PhD student affiliated to Leiden University Center for Linguistics where she is working on her PhD thesis entitled The Conceptual Analysis of Dioula Disease Terms and their Translation.

Her research interests include: Linguistics (Lexicography and Terminology), Medical Translation, Ethno-medicine, Dioula Language and Culture.
