Olivia Fifi Gieskes

Olivia is a PhD researcher at the University of Edinburgh and Aarhus University. As a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow in the ANTHUSIA project, her research explores aid practices of Chinese medical teams in Central and East Africa with a particular focus on Rwanda.

Olivia holds a BSc and MSc in Political Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and an MSc in Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies from the Catholic University of Leuven.
