Michele Portatadino
Michele Portatadino graduated in 2013 at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, Italy, with a final dissertation anent the post-independence political history of Mozambique, country which is still the favourite object of most of his research papers.
Since February 2014, he is enrolled in the Research Master in African Studies, a two-year master degree course offered by the African Studies Centre at Universiteit Leiden, the Netherlands. In September 2014, he published his first article in Quaderni Asiatici, academic journal edited by Centro di cultura Italia-Asia Guglielmo Scalise, Milan, Italy.
He is currently working as a student-assistant archivist and librarian at the African Studies Centre, Leiden, the Netherlands.
Passionate with history and languages, he is researching the role of the young generations in the Mozambican politics.
