Michael Weldeghiorghis Tedla

Graduated with a BA degree from the University of Asmara, Eritrea, in History (2003) and the Research Master's in African studies from Leiden University (2014). Worked as a junior researcher for eight years at the Research and Documentation Centre in Asmara.  Currently finalizing a book project on the history of the Eritrean Liberation Front, a socio-political movement that has been important in the recent history of Eritrea.

Research interests revolve around political history of Northeast Africa particularly Eritrea and Ethiopia.
