Mathilde Allard

Mathilde Allard holds a Master’s degree in Art History, with a focus on African art, from the École du Louvre in Paris (France). In 2018, she was enrolled as a Master’s student in the Museum Studies specialisation at Leiden University (The Netherlands).

She is part of the collaborative research group “Collaboration and contestation in words: Dialogues and disputes in African social realities”, at the African Studies Centre Leiden. She is particularly interested in the relationship between poetics, politics and ethics in the contemporary museum space.
