Krijn Peters

Krijn Peters is a rural development sociologist specialised in armed conflict and post-war reconstruction. Particular skills in: disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration of ex-combatants, child soldiers, transitional justice, youth marginalisation and exclusion, rural and agrarian development, corporate social responsibility and drug trafficking. Region of expertise: West Africa.

Krijn recently secured an ESRC/DFID grant (3 year/£150.000) to assess the impact of track construction for motorbike taxis on poverty alleviation and peacebuilding in Post-war Liberia.
