Employed at Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria. Currently serving as the Head of the Department of History and doubling as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Arts.

Research Interests:  Transportation, Imperialism and the Legacies of Colonialism in Africa, with particular reference to Nigeria.
