Fortune Nwaiwu

Fortune Nwaiwu is a researcher with research expertise in ICT for Development (ICT4D), Digitalisation, the Platform Economy, entrepreneurship, and social innovations. He is a Doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Management and Economics, Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech Republic. His research interests covers a broad spectrum of Digital Technologies and their impact on businesses and society at large.

He holds a Master’s degree in Security and Risk Management from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, and a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands.

He is currently studying for a Doctoral degree (PhD) in Management and Economics in the Industrial Engineering Department at Tomas Bata University, in the Czech Republic. His doctoral thesis focus is on "Digitalisation and the Platform Economy - How Businesses are Adopting Digital Technologies and Responding to the Disruptions of Existing Business Models".
