Profile
The focus of my work is local natural resource management in the most fragile areas in the world. My experience in this area is in Sub-Sahara Africa, particularly Nigeria and Chad. I am a passionate team player, entrepreneurial and creative. I am strong in conceptual thinking and strategizing, with good writing- and presentation skills. My preferred position is policy and strategy development & management.
 

Project / Program Development:

  • Co-initiator of a Niger Delta Climate Resilience Initiative (REDD+) in the Niger Delta (2014: Scoping Study, 2015: Concept development phase)
  • Participation in the conceptualization of the Responsible Mining Index, with focus on the role of local communities (2013-2014). http://responsibleminingindex.org/
  • Co-initiator and -designer of the Business Unit Extractives of Cordaid (2013 – present), 14 FTE NL & 5 countries.
  • Co-initiator and -designer of the Minorities Program of Cordaid (2007-2010), 10 FTE in NL
  • Co-initiator and program manager of the multi-country project: “Equal participation for minorities in Central and Eastern Europe” with the Central and Eastern Europe department of Cordaid and Justitia & Pax (2004-2006).
