Daniel Haudenschild

Daniel Haudenschild is a Research Master student in International Development Studies at the University of Amsterdam. His research interest includes Political Economy of Development and decolonial thinking and practice. Taking a decolonial lens, his thesis focuses on the neoliberal legitimization of the agribusiness regime in the case of the Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor of Tanzania. He holds a Bachelor's in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. Daniel has also been involved in student-led collaborations in facilitating and teaching social justice courses for undergraduate students, while conducting participatory action research. The mixed methods study evaluated an equity-oriented pedagogy, which integrated democratic and multimodal learning approaches.
