Alain Biboum

Alain Biboum is a PhD student at the Institute of Solar Energy (ISE) of EGE University in Izmir, Turkey. He is currently working on the development of hybrid projects using renewable energy as raw material in sub-Saharan African countries. His research is also applicable to fossil fuel-based power plants that have a negative environmental impact through the production of greenhouse gases and a high electricity sales cost for middle-income households in most of these countries.

Alain Biboum's other research includes building efficiencies, energy auditing of thermal systems and multi/re-generation systems to optimize production and efficiently meet energy needs. In addition, Alain is one of the promoters of the Cameroon association of the Solar Energy Society (CASES) and a board member of the African Caraib and Pacific ENERGY company based in Cameroon and represented in several African countries such as Zambia, Djibouti and Mali. In addition, he worked as a research engineer, commercial and then as a project manager for companies in the energy sector.
