Akin Akiboye

I am presently working on Re-building of Rural Communities by IDPs in a Post-Conflict South Africa at Wageningen University Research Centre.

I was a former UNDP Disaster Management Co-ordinator and Advisor to both Ugandan and Namibian governments between 1998 and 2006. Likewise, I served the UK government for 22 years until when I left in 2011 at a Senior Executive Post, for the Wageningen University Research Centre.

I studied at various Universities in the UK for all my academic qualifications including my M.Phil. in International Relations and Conflict Studies.

Presently, my academic career has just been linked to relevant Centres at University of Free States, in South Africa (Centre for Development Support, International Institute for Studies on Race, Reconciliation and Social Justice).
