Henrietta Nyamnjoh, Communication technologies, politics and mobility in the Bamenda Grassfields and amongst Bamenda Grassfielders in the South West Province of Cameroon and in the diaspora

The study seeks to understand migrants’ appropriation of the new Information and Communication Technologies to link home and host country and the wider migrant community. How does this change existing social structures and reconfigure new ones. And also, look at the dynamic relationship between ICTs and mobility.

On 28 November 2013, Henrietta Nyamnjoh defended her dissertation at Leiden University.
