The Afrika-Studiecentrum Series presents the best of Africanists' work
in the field of social sciences in the Netherlands. Publication in the
series is open to all authors attached to a Dutch scientific institution,
and also to Africanists who are temporarily connected to such an institute.
The international editorial board consists of Dr Piet Konings
(African Studies Centre), Dr Paul Mathieu (FAO, Rome), Prof. Deborah Posel (Director WISER, South Africa), Prof. Nicolas van de Walle (Cornell
University, Ithaca, USA), and Dr Ruth Watson (University of London, UK).
