About the peer-review systems of the ASC book series

African Dynamics
All books in this series are edited volumes. Each volume is the result of a conference in which all contributors come together to discuss their respective chapters.

Afrika-Studiecentrum Series
All books in this series are double-blind reviewed.

Africa Yearbook
All contributions are reviewed by the editors.

Langaa/ASC Series
All books in this series are double-blind reviewed.

African Studies Collection
Books in this series are not externally reviewed. Volumes other than PhD thesises are usually internally judged on their quality. The same goes for the series’ predecessor, the ASC Research Reports

ASC Research Series (discontinued)
The volumes in this series were only internally reviewed.

ASC Working Papers, African Studies Abstracts Online and ASC Info Sheets are not reviewed.
